A decade ago, my body threw me a curveball, challenging me in ways I never expected. It all happened so swiftly—a sudden clash within, my own organs at odds with each other in an autoimmune battle.

At the start, I couldn't grasp the magnitude of this challenge or foresee the length of my path ahead. My body felt unfamiliar, waging a war within itself.

Alternative medicine was a notion I'd heard of but never truly considered. Until one fateful day, amidst hospital walls, losing vision in one eye, I reached my tipping point. With determination, I asked my partner to whisk me away from that place.

That day marked the start of a new chapter, delving into an entirely different realm of healing. Finding a practitioner who understood my journey became my turning point. Healing isn't a destination—it's an ongoing voyage. And that's where my story truly began.

“Don’t be a statistic; be a story of inspiration,” whispered my husband in my ear. From day one of finding out about my medical case, he’s been my motivation to turn my situation around and take matters into my own hands.

How did I do it? From the moment I learned I had lupus, borderline MS, and fibromyalgia—autoimmune diseases that conventional medicine deems incurable, treatable only with chemotherapy, immunosuppressants, and other interventions—I faced a mental and physical rollercoaster. Despite being bedridden, my husband and I tirelessly researched autoimmune diseases and related conditions. We explored non-conventional cures and therapies, including functional medicine, holistic healing, and Ayurveda, to turn my case on its head.

Seeking answers, I embarked on a journey through the medical world. Yet, for over seven years, clarity eluded me.

This transformation has profoundly altered my life. Discovering the intricacies of our body's needs and how to maintain its well-being became my mission. I delved deep, studying and practicing this sacred art of medicine that had worked wonders for my physical and mental health.

Through years of exploration, from my journeys across India and Nepal to embracing traditional medicine, I've retraced my steps to reclaim my body and retain my health. It's been an integral part of me all along—so much so that it was almost hidden in plain sight, embodied in my very name, PAM: Personalized Alternative Medicine.
